Morning or Night? When to Take Your BTI or other Supplements for 100% Absorption.

Taking your supplements at the right time is the difference between wasting your vitamins and feeling their full strength.

The Morning wake up your system routine:

   - Multivitamins & B-Complex- Take with breakfast

   - Probiotics- Take these 30 minutes before food

   - Vitamin A, D, E, K- take with a meal, preferably at lunch

The Evening Recovery Phase routine:

   - Magnesium or the ultimate relaxer Take before bed

   - Fish Oils (Omega-3s): best absorbed with a heavier meal like dinner

   - Calcium: this one is the jealous vitamin competing with Iron, thyroid meds and some antibiotics, So don’t take it at the same time and no more than 500 mg at a time

And just to add a few more;

. The Energy Hook: Taking your B-Vitamins in the morning is like giving your body its morning coffee, without the jitters.

. The Sugar Support Angle: Since “BTI Sugar Support” helps manage how your body handles food, it is best taken right before your largest meal. This ensures the ingredients are 'on duty' when your blood sugar needs them most.

. The Coffee  Rule:  Caffeine can block the absorption of certain minerals like Calcium and Iron. So wait at least one hour after your morning coffee before taking your supplements.

.  Black and Green Tea: Tea contains tannins and oxalates. These natural compounds are great  antioxidants but terrible for iron and mineral absorption. So again wait at least one hour after a meal before having your tea.

. Soda and Carbonated Drinks especially dark colas: contain phosphoric acid. This essentially flushes Calcium and Magnesium out before your body can use them. So if you are taking a bone/ joint support supplement, avoid soda for at least two hours.

 . Alcohol: Significantly delays the absorption of B-Vitamins (especially B12 and Folate), Zinc, and Vitamin C. So go figure.

Don't forget to take these vitamins and supplements with a glass of water ( not other drinks).
